17th Annual NPOD Spring Retreat 2026

The Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases (NPOD) hosted his 17th Annual Spring Retreat on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the Nebraska East Union.
The symposium was attended by over 70 participants.

Featured speakers were experts on the topics of “Dietary signals in obesity and metabolic reprogramming”:

  • Katrin Svensson (Stanford School of Medicine)
  • Federico Rey (University of Wisconsin–Madison)
  • Christopher Newgard (Duke University School of Medicine)
